Twelve months, Seventy-Two outfits, part one.

   Recently, I have been helping out a friend with her wardrobe, I have been giving her fashion tips every women should know, helping her revamp her closet and turning her into a bonafide fashionista! She is probably one of my best friends, and I have known her forever, since I started my blog she has been asking me a lot about fashion and she has enlisted me to give her wardrobe a little face lift, now normally I would take her shopping, and be a fashion sidekick, but the problem is that I am no longer in Texas, and she's taken up an obsession of mine; online shopping. I basically became her virtual stylist/best friend and it started out by her giving me a budget for about twelve outfits, colors and styles that she could not stand and a few of her style icons. She was super easy to work with, and the guidelines were along the lines of "I like all colors, as long as I don't look crazy. Fashion icons are Audrey Hepburn and Blake Lively, nothing too short, nothing to matronly.", and I simply set up a few outfits, and she was officially obsessed with fashion. Last week, I got a text from her saying "I'm going to the (insert her local mall here), what stores should I go to?", I quickly googled the mall she was going to and looked for a directory and sent her a text of about eleven stores, out of those 11 stores, she went to the stores I suggested and sent me pictures of about 13 items saying "yay or nay?", my inner fashionista was very pleased with myself that one of my best friends trusted me this much with her wardrobe. Then she told me she was heading to Nordstroms, and I quickly went to the Nordstroms website and sent her pictures of what I thought would look fabulous on her. I was so excited when she found the items I suggested and bought them! My friend now has a revamped super trendy closet, and our texts consist of sending each other our fall wish-list items, and notifying each other when J. Crew is having a sale. I love being able to send her a picture of a Chloé purse and of Alexander Wang 2013, and her replying "I spy a Chloé bag!" is truly a big accomplishment, and very major. This inspired me to create 6 outfits for each month making that a total of seventy- two outfits, all created on Polyvore. Of course, this will be an ongoing series, and will not be done all at once.  I am starting off with July, and will be including 6 outfits. Enjoy!
